Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School, Delhi: Admission, Academic, Fee 2021-22

The School for Girls was built in 1927. This cozy dream of Shri Das to serve and care for children was reinforced by many: a group of educators and the school continued to expand until 1947. He absorbed more than he had in his scrolls and his student strength from 400 to 1400.

Originally, the school was directly under the administrative control of the Ministry of Education of the Government of India and received a grant from the central government. It was later transferred to the Delhi administration in 1949. It is a composite school located in three separate buildings. Elementary at Defense Colony, Middle and High School on Canning Road, New Delhi.

Lady Irwin Senior Secondary School target

First, it is the increased mental activity of children, which includes imagination, thinking, response to both thoughts, the environment, and sensitivity to the smallest things in life. In other words, the aim is to create in students the desire to learn more and more about the world, people, and life itself through books, and indirect experiences that live in fiction with characters from autobiographies and fiction, uniting their hopes. and fears. And disappointments in different circumstances. In this way, one becomes richer, develops new powers of enjoyment, and can penetrate new areas of understanding.

The second goal is to help students become familiar with others in the family, school, and community, with its ever-expanding boundaries, including people of all income groups, different qualifications, religion, sect, and different beliefs. Children should be proud of the different groups to which they belong and become aware of their identity as human beings that connect them with the rest of the human race.

The third objective is to instill in them the value of conflict and action individually and cooperatively. Children should know that well-planned, goal-based, and fun work also pays the most. In other words, in this type of work, the head, the heart, the hands of the members function as a team, strengthening each other. In group work, students soon learn that respect for the individual, and a sense of humor help to complete difficult tasks happily and effectively.
